    Not my preferred method of splicing wire but when you need to use these they work good. Quality is better than most. I have had zero issues using them.

    I’ve used a number of these over the last year and they are quite good for your smaller wiring. Heat shrink works as it’s supposed to. Comes in a nice little plastic case. Will buy again if I run out.

    I’ve already installed 5 of these and they are made of quality material. They crimped nicely and the heat shrink is thick enough not to tear during a crimp. The heat shrink molds well. The product arrived on time. I’d reorder again.

    this might work fine for 12 gauge wire, but for 10 gauge wire I am using for a solar project the wires are thicker then the pipe they have to slide into so it is too small for 10 gauge. I ended up having to solder the pair and use tape and heat shrink. I work with this size wire a lot so this is a waste of money.

    I used this on my boat’s electrical wiring repairs and it works perfectly. Heat shrink skirt waterproofs all connections.But be advised….apply with a quality crimping tool is a must ! (and inexpensive).

    Great product. Used heat gun to shrink which worked very well to create a waterproof connection. These are very robust connectors. Used to connect a charger between 7 pin connector and dump trailer charger and battery.

    Used to repair some damaged holiday light wires. Worked good to splice broken wires. Was a good size for the small wire gauge. Crimps were made with a simple pliers. A heat gun was used to shrink the tubing to make the repairs water tight.

    The clamping neck that holds the wire in does not appear to be long enough, at least for my taste and the wire often slipped out during installation, one slipped out after installation. It is tough to hold the wire, the connector, and the tool at the same time for me and a longer neck may have helped reduce the effort and the margin of error.It has been now three months since I used this to connect 10 AWG wiring and so far so good.

    They require more heat than a match or aim a flame, but the heat shrink wall is thick and there is plenty of adhesive to seal the connection.

    I now have 99 of these connectors because I used one, and it performed exactly as it should. The connector has a glue inside that melts when heated, so the bond is firm and water- tight. Just what I wanted for some wiring in a cargo trailer that has to deal with all kinds of weather. Seller was right on top of the sale as well.

    The price was good and the quality seems good, as well. Crimps easily and firm. You can see the adhesive come out when you heat the connector and that is good!

    These are ok. The metal crimp part is good and holds well. if you crimp with the correct tool it will rip the insulation. The heat shrink ends seal well around the wire.
